No offence..At all. I'm glad you raised the issue. But I must look at as much as possible. One problem for the Salton Sea area is the 1987 Elmore Ranch and Superstitian quakes. These two quakes released a lot of energy, and could have kept the volcanic formation active for years. And then we also have to look at the stress changes into the Bouse formation (infill) created by both Landers and Hector mine quakes. So the question for me is how do I separate natural and manmade seismicity? I would have to know the exact schedule of the power plant, and then do some comparisons. Just thinking... Comments?
