While your percentages make it sound reasonable, they are in fact deceptive.

Consider it this way; if I am scraping by on $6k per year by eating dogfood and the government takes 5% of it away for taxes I'll be in very dire straights whereas if you are getting $500k per year and the government takes 50% for taxes you might have to switch from Beluga caviar to a cheaper brand.

Remember too that there's no assurance that the money saved by tax cuts will be recycled back into the economy. A good bit of it may well end up in Swiss bank accounts.

And this is all OFF TOPIC anyway.
