A big nothing

Well, we are about 2 days since the end of the magnetic storm, and I think 4 days or more since the flare that caused it, and my casual, non-scientific looks at the California map and global EQ list (NEIC-USGS) suggests nothing happened, once again. It is easy for someone to say the M3.9 and 4.3 Coalinga quakes occurred as the proton or electron flux was falling off or whatever it was that was posted here years ago, but that would be pretty meaningless. What I do find interesting is that the global seismicity seems to have been rather low the last few days, with few M5s and none bigger than about M5.5. Yes, it takes a few days or weeks for all significant quakes to be posted on the NEIC page (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Quakes/quakes_all.php)...oops, as I went back to get the address a M5.9 Tonga quake was posted).
California seismicity (meaning mainly M3+) is still low and has been for an extended period, despite the couple yesterday and the day before.
1: Am I imagining this?
2: Is it just a statistical anomaly that does not mean anything?
3: Aren't there enough small quakes in California that there should not be such anomalies (n=lots)?
