In my early morning time wasting, I found the global warming-related link below. Let's see, as I understand a post from Canie a few weeks ago these kinds of science posts are not "off topic", but I could always mention that if major glaciers like you might see around Mount Blanc were to largely melt, thrust earthquakes would be favored....meaning..if there was a stressed thrust fault that might not otherwise have a quake, but it was not too far from failure, it might fail.
