The Hainzl study is sound, although it is most likely the phenomenon is common, as there are a lot of areas for which there is obviously little correlation between earthquakes and rainfall. We just submitted a comment on the Crockett article, as its results fly in the face of many more careful and comprehensive studies. It's odd that you reject many scientists' conclusions, but when a single one agrees with you, you trumpet it as confirmation of long-repressed theories. I should point out that Jim Berkland has yet to assess Roger's comprehensive analysis showing that his predictions have had little or no correlation with reality.
