need a link |
Good morning Jane and Cathryn, I can't find any mention of this in a google search, CNN search, or from the tsunami centers. It is interesting to me, so if anyone can link to an article, that would be nice. Any chace it was a 12", not 12', tsunami, and the currents involved did the damage? yesterday afternoon, the national weather service (www.nws.noaa.gov) still had advisories out of Hawaii for people to stay out of the water, especially at channels...but that this was decreasing at that time. I work with someone at UCSB who works in a trailer between the beach and the lagoon....about 20 m from his office is the tsunami hazard sign. Lots of unreplaceable data in that office, some of it mine. A nice view, a nice place to eat lunch (the beach), but cramped....
