They do matter... |
Hello Callie, Every single quake that happens matters. When I look at the California seismicity maps, every quake is telling us a story about how the crust of the earth moves. What bothers me here is that there is a greater emphasis on numbers than on the physical structure of fault systems. I was also looking at the work of Toda and Stein, and stress transfer, but that is not discussed on this forum. Other than Chris, I can't get anybody to say anything about the MT solutions. I don't know much about Mercury. I don't think I have to. Kinda boring to me. I'm more concerned about the cracks forming around here.
