Hi Martin. Thanks for the heads up. It is a beautiful day here in Taichung. Temperature is perfect and light winds. Sunshine is bright and wonderful. Saw the Philippine event on USGS and await possible correlation. The fish in the pond look very relaxed and not much to report in the way of precursor activity. Couple of minor things, but nothing exciting.

Did you see the series we had over the last 24 or so hours on the Central Weather Bureau. Is it possible that Taiwan is transferring to the Philippines?

For some reason, it has been one of those days that it is easy to loose your balance. Maybe somehow related. I have an amature magnet test set up. Twice today some of the business card magnets with paper under them fell off. On the other hand, another magnet test that uses a magnet holding various objects, today shows an increase over the last several days. Fluctuations?? Related?? Stay tuned.
