I have had this exact "premonition" for some time. Only last week, when my ex-ski-lift-operator son quit his job at Squaw Valley and moved back to Aptos did I breath a partial sigh. I have had this "vision" of an earthquake insipired avalanche up there for months now.

Tales from the field: Kevin tells me the ski patrol regularly sets of dynamite to hasten impending avalanches. Then the hotdoggers ski down the mountain in front of the advancing snow.

Sounds like something Don in Creepy Town would do.
