I don't think scoring is a game. I think it's an honest attempt to document the success/failure rate of predictions. I think Michael is doing a commendable job.

I also hear tones. I heard a long clear tone about 20 seconds long the night before the Seattle quake. I've never admitted before that I hear tones. I'm going to start keeping a log to see if there is any correspondance to earthquakes.

The day after Bolinas, I posted on the Syzygy board that I thought it was a foreshock. Others, including Job, were curious about my take on things. Reason? Lack of what I would consider a normal aftershock sequence for a quake that size.

I see the same thing happening with the Olympia quake. Where are the aftershocks?
