Hi All. Petra’s tone this time around had us scratching our heads. As she stated it was a tone she’s never heard before.

Calculating the speed of the “P wave” derived the speed. I know the speed of sound is 1129 FPS at 70 degrees Fahrenheit. This is 677 MPH. As you can see there is a wide range in the time factor of the two methods. Using the speed of the “P wave” the tone would last about 20 seconds for a little more then 700 miles. Using the speed of sound it would last a little more then 1 second, which was not the case.

This may not work, but a method has to be found so as to be able to calculate the distance. Take Care…Don in creepy town.
