Re: Mindset / Handling Disasters

Hello Michael,

Forgive me if I am thinking that I would like to come to your house and knock you upside the head and when I made it perfectly clear you needed an EQ/Disaster Kit, then I'd help you make one.

There are all kinds of disasters that require some kind of preparation. Floods, flash floods, chemical spills, a fire in the house next door and their basement is full of ammo. Or near your house a gas truck explodes. See what I mean, you don't need an EQ to declare a disaster in your life. I know, had two last year, I'm still here, unfortunately. I don't mean being not here in the physical, but I planned on living on an island in Alaska and I'm not there, but here.

As they say, everything happens for a reason. Go figure, huh? How about seeing if you can build an EQ kit from stuff in your house and never make a trip to the store. You can try it first hand, with no assistance and see how good you do. Then you can tell us about your experience and how easy or difficult it was to find what you needed. It could be an interesting exercise in reverse ostrichism.

We all need good examples, people who motivate. So how about being the guinea pig?
