Re: San Jose/Congrats Mary! |
Hi Mary, I see you haven't lost your "hearing touch." Congratulations. We haven't had that much going on up here and I'm so glad you hear that you still have your skills. I bought two emergency lights recently. These are the ones you plug in and they have an orange glow. If the power goes out the light turns on, or at any time you can use it as a flashlight. As we all know, even if you can find your flashlight, more often than not, the batteries are dead. Two good features in one unit. I've had stock up fever recently. I do this subconsciouly before storms and earthquakes. I start buying lots of canned goods, fill the freezer and make sure there's enough stuff on hand to last a good three days. Funny thing is that I don't realize I'm doing it until I start putting the food away and run out of space. Then I say to myself, "oh, something's coming." One thing for sure, I'm glad I don't live anywhere near Indonesia. I can't begin to imagine what its like to have 7.0 earthquakes on a frequent basis. Must be horrible. Keep up the good work Mary!
