Hi Scorpio,

There is an area to the lower left that shows up quite well in the morning live cam. There's a dark short cindercone there. The rest of the day all you can see is the lightness in the valley that separates the two.

Every night for two weeks, baby Popo has been spouting hot stuff and its easy to locate.

In this case it would not be like Mt. St. Helens at all, as it is all unto itself. With St. Helens the bulge began to stretch out of the side of the mountain and when the blast came it blew it out.

With Popo the little guy right now being closer to the Earth's interior is hotter than the big one because the main volcano is considerably higher than the little guy.

If the opportunity presented itself to go and see it first hand, I'd be there is a heartbeat. I love volcanos, truly thrilling.

Petra
