Creepmeters

Don:

Got a partial response from the person responsible for the creepmeters we discussed a number of days ago. I think these were instruments near the Hayward Fault. I guess I was not clear that I was looking for info on the horizontal axis of the graph also. I'll try to get that in a response to USGS.

============================================
The left hand axis is plus or minus 1 mm of slip on the fault. If the fault is locked the signal should be a striaght line. Because of temperature effects and soil moisture disturbing the soils at the sub mm level there is usually a signal on all the instruments. THe resolution of each instrument is 1/1000 mm or 1 micron.
