Petra - I seem to remember this warning - was it you that originally said it? From a dream? Or am I imagining things?

Popo is being quite active - I haven't seen an ash cloud large enough to make it from mexico city to the california border though. I also wonder with the jet stream - it seems to be going in the opposite direction. Could your understanding of the warning be in question? Maybe we just need a large Popo event? Large enough to get ash into the upper atmosphere (kinda like Pinotubo). Oh well.. just pondering.
