I found the fault listed in one of their automatic quake messages. I'd imagine that if they said foreshocks are occuring on the Sierra Madre fault they'd have a general exodus.
Info on this fault: http://www.scecdc.scec.org/madre.html
(PROBABLE MAGNITUDES: MW6.0 - 7.0 (?))

This from the EDIS Site:
Magnitude : 4.1 Ml
Time : 13 Jan 2001 06:50:53 PM PST
: 14 Jan 2001 02:50:53 UTC
Coordinates : 34 deg. 17.70 min. N, 118 deg. 24.05 min. W
Depth : 2.4 miles ( 3.9 km)
Quality : Excellent
Event ID : 9613261
Location : 2 mi. ENE of San Fernando, CA
: 19 mi. NNW of Los Angeles Civic Center, CA

Same for the 4.3 - It was listed at the EDIS bulletin area.

Maybe a trip to Costco is in order.... Anyway - good time to rotate those supplies.
