I heard a reporter on KNX that said it was in the same place as the Northridge quake. I think there was some bad information going around as this was within a mile or two or three of the of the 1971 Sylmar quake, and probably a good 10+ miles from Northridge, so I think they got their quake history screwed up. It sounded like they corrected their analysis later in the evening by saying it was not a Northridge aftershock quoting Lucy Jones.
