I've been reading your posts about your experiences at the AGU conference. I believe you mentioned you attended a lecture regarding the Mojave block in S. Ca.

Did they say anything about how they feel this area may release larger earthquakes in the near future? I read an article somewhere where the area was described as seismically inactive! This couldn't be with Landers, Joshua Tree and Hector Mine. I've heard theories that S. Cal may be entering a very seismic time, while other theories suggest the complete opposite. Just curious if you remember hearing anything either way at AGU.
