Few of us on this list have really studied earthquakes long enough to see globally consistent patterns. That's nearly impossible during the dawn of technology with a science that "performs" so sporadically.

A few hundred years from now, perhaps people will have EQ prediction down to a fine art. We are mere neophytes at this game.
