A three point nine struck northwest of Bishop and everyone else knew where it was. Not a perfect hit, by your or my standards, as I did state but close enough if you live there and your goldfish is spawning the carpet...Dates are included when the post loads. 100 hours from 1417:04. I use time from posting in the zone where I live and where earthwaves is located as well.(Pacific) Click on (Recent E.Q. in Cal at top of this site) "Big earthquakes" to get proximity reports from nearby towns. The E.Q that struck near Bishop was 12 miles North & 352 degrees. You must think I'm GOD or something?
I just assume that others use even the most basic info that I do. A fault map always, the recent earthquakes in California list (big earthquakes list below map), arcdata online, etc. I post to the closest city or landmark I can find as was Bishop on the top of the list. 12 miles away. Tom's place was 14 miles away Big pine was 26.
I quit school in grade eight (dammit) and have never had a formal geology lesson! You should kwow how to figure out all the questions you just asked of me. Are you for real I ask again? Do your homework so I don't have to answer these distracting questions. Questions are ok but the ones you asked were already in my post I think....mb
