Re: What If?

My accuracy is very high and that's no where near 7.5%. Expect applause for one or two hundred successful posts how bout? On my last list, The Kamchatka forecast came in with a much larger than background pair of 5.7, 5.8. Chile too. & others. only four from a list of 16 failed last period. That's 75%, not 7.5.
Alan's post was 7.5 percent chance of a quake under 5 followed by one or more over 5 within a short while~ ten days I think. So if I did post everything that showed activity I should only be getting 7.5% correct. I get several hits every day on average because I monitor all large or unusual activity. It's deciphering building activity from decreasing activity that the skill of interpreting foreshocks comes in. The problem I face with all my data is I have it and others don't and I haven't always the time to post all the info that I have about the forecasts. I see the quakes on my hard copy and see them often strike the exact fault area but others don't see anything on the world list but a rough location nearest some distant town. My greatest following (and it IS great) are those that I see often who see the details of forecast hits (Hundreds locally who call me seismo). Much easier to show than tell...mb.
Thanks for your help and your critique, helps to get feedback. ...mb. Best wishes and safety to all!...mb.
