Todd; > Is there anyway to post a map or something that shows the hotspots? it's possible. Right now it only plots a crude grid so I can see what it's found. > Is this program setup so that you can enter other magnitudes to get averages and hotspots? Sure. I run my programs from the source code so all I have to do is change some variables to get a different output. > Do you think anyone has ever thought of this at Caltech? I.E. I always wonder if they have a program that has plotted out all the micro quakes (1-2 mag range) for the last 30 years if with that data the computer can automatically predict with good certainty the location and time range of the next micro quake. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this hasn't been done many times without success predictively. If it worked, we'd be doing it!
