Howdy Mike,

We covered Trabuco station back in 1975 out of Warner Springs in Monte Vista RU
(San Diego) I met a bunch of the Orange County schedule A folks. They were over at the airport, Fountain Valley, and I think Laguna Nigal. I think they had 5 or 6 schedule B stations over there...Trabuco, Silverado and I think San Juan. Don't remember the others. El Toro..? I did get on a couple of big fires down on the Oretega Hwy.

Oh...Not sure if you know, but Puerta La Cruz and Rainbo are all women inmates now. Not sure about Norco or Oak Glen. Did they go state wide with the women inmates? Just asking..

Predicting earthquakes is a crapps shoot. I am testing a stress transfer hypothesis, but I am ham strung because I can't see the fault mechanisms on the smaller quakes. I am left to making assumptions based on the larger quakes..If I look at the history of fault mechanisms on the San Jacinto, I make an assumption that the smaller quakes are acting in the same way. Not good science.
I have to agree with Don from Hollister...The magnitudes are really a bugger to get. At any rate, predictions are a side bar to my real interest, which is the geology of the Salton Trough. Dedicated amateur. I grew up in it. I will die studying it.
