Hi Cathryn, My predict is further south near Borrego Springs. Hope I got the lat-lon right. There is a swarm just west of the Salton Sea, and my predict is an area about 15 to 20 Km due south of that on the Coyote Creek segment of the San Jacinto fault. Todays 3.0 is up in the ECSZ near the fork of the Homestead and Johnson Valley faults, close to the epi of the Landers quake. This southern segment of the San Jacinto that I am looking at has been quiet for some time. It can't do too much, given the 6.5 mw in 1968 and a 150 year recurrence for rupture type quakes. I am looking for reactivity, not a large quake. Hope that makes sense. Glen
