Nothing wrong with it pissing you off. But perhaps you can shop around a bit? Maybe find someone who'll do it for a bit less than most? It might not even hurt to try negotiating the fee. I can't imagine that they're all hard arses about it.

Besides, you shouldn't go with the first lawyer you talk to anyway. Just like doctors, get a second opinion...third....maybe fourth?
