Give 4-6 weeks of healing for the soft tissue. Did they indicate how much deep bleeding in to the soft tissue? If a lot 8 weeks to even get the healing started well. Ask they about damage to the nerves. Nerves carry the pain signs. Nerve damage takes forever to heal. They can heal, but 6 months is the shortest you are likely to see if extensive. In the mean time start looking for a good therapeutic massage person. Look for someone with a BS RN or better degree + massage training. You will need someone with the advanced medical training in this case. Therepeutic massage can really help with pain in many cases.
