Not Chaotic? |
Hi Bob and Dennis, Let's say for instance nothing is random in the universe in regard to absolutely everything. So for example at this moment in time, a solar flare triggers and earthquake in "x city" and 3,000 people die. The ground is forever changed and the lives of all of the people it affects. Is it destiny? Did not all of the people who chose to live at this time decide as part of their life plan they would survive or die in this earthquake? They would have already known it was going to happen because it would have been a major event in their lives. Therefore, if they knew it was going to occur, then it is not a random earthquake at all. See what I mean? Now take this one single event and look at it from every possible angle and it should become apparent, if you have such a belief system, (which I do), nothing big that ever happens in a lifetime is random, therefore major events such as earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, political matters of an extraordinary kind. Or simply the sinking of the Titanic, which was literally forecast by some of the passengers who boarded her, and those who thought twice and didn't, are not random at all. Of course, free will fits in there somewhere.
