Magnitude: 3.0 - 5.2
From: 08/22/07 0001 Pacific - To: 09/01/06 0001 Pacific
Location: Brawley-Elmore Ranch
Lat: 32.900N - Long: 115.750W - Range: 40 km

Howdy

Looking for a quake in the Elmore Ranch/Superstition area. It could be a bit west on the southern Coyote Creek Fault. If in the Elmore, it will be a normal with hang wall down. A quake on the Superstition will be oblique strike slip or a quake on Coyote 90 or so degree strike slip.

Quake will be felt

Depth; above 8 Km

Basis; I gave this one about 10 days. Not much of a window, but I only took in 40 Km. That 40 Km also takes in Obsidian Butte, and if the quake hits there I will consider it a MISS. I think the Elmore will respond to the recent seismicity northeast of Borrego in the Badlands. I think there is a system of step over faults from Elmore north to where the last swarm occured just a few weeks ago. The southern Coyote Creek is just sitting there doing nothing. Hmmmm?
Also Yuha Wells and the northern Laguna Salada have been somewhat active. Anza?
Who knows. The stretch near Badlands is what made me put up the prediction. Let's see what happens. I missed on Mettler....Oh my
