Thanks Marc. I'm glad you said what you had to and I understand. I have been told some are afraid to post for fear of reprisal and I surely hope that's not the case.

I would hope this board is a place where it is safe to put forth an idea and not get attacked. I don't consider someone asking pointed questions an attack. It's the way things are done in the scientific community. One puts forth an idea, hypothesis or conclusion. One presents the data and the source of the data, be it your own work, or building off the accepted conclusions of other's works. And then the questions start. They aren't attacks. They are questions. If you ever expect to have something stand up to the rigors of science, or be accepted, you have to be able to take the questions, provide answers, or be willing to investigate further.

I do not think it unreasonable to be asked to supply evidence or answers to what is presented as fact.

And to re-iterate some of 'the rules':
We have some simple guidelines to follow - 1: No derogatory posts allowed - they will be deleted. 2: You may disagree with someone who makes a post, but you may only do so in an adult manner that does not include degrading someone in any manner. 3: No foul language is allowed. 4: Please keep the post related to Earthquake Phenomena or Earth Changes related postings. You can have personal comments as a part of a related post, but no completely off-topic postings please.
