Actually, I found the Dixie Valley earthquake rather interesting. That's a place that has had huge earthquakes in the past. One item of note is that its one place I've heard of that has a large quake as a precursor which is almost as large as the large quake that follows. Rather scary. That's a place that hasn't had much activity in the past few years.

While there has been some discussion that the quakes of the fifties and sixties were brought on by underground detonations in the area, it doesn't say anything about the quakes that occurred in the 1800's that were whoppers. So it gets my attention looking at the recent 3.

As for Dr. Watson, I haven't heard from him of late. Must be busy writing those reports, which he is excellent at doing.
