Hi Canie,
I find that sad. Of course, not all animals are seismically sensitive. My past critters, however, certainly have been. One Manx-Siamese indoor only cat move outdoors on Aug. 8, 1989 the day of the foreshock to the World Series Quake. She literally live in the bushes for 2 mo. till Oct. 17. Also, my yellow Lab paced for one week prior to the 7.1 jolt.
Both my animals--K.C. and Simon are good for Tahoe-related quakes. Well, my new kitten is black. And there are some people who believe black cats are more sensitive. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
