Chris, looking at the historical data at USGS there seems to be a seimic
gap in the subduction activity just to the NW of the M7.7. At approx 8 DEG S
and 105 DEG E. This also seems to be related to the southern end of the Great
Sumatran Fault as it dives into the ocean just to the north. Any comments???
