You crack me up. Out of the clear blue sky, late this afternoon, I thought, hey, a beer would be really good. Sent #3 daughter to the garage to investigate and she brought me a Bass Ale. Now that was so fine, I am thinking about having another. I am a bit underweight, so can well afford the calories.

Spouse in Aptos is MIA. Left from work over an hour ago (a 20 minute drive), but they are repaving a good part of the freeway in these parts, and it can take as much as 45 minutes to get home. I won't start to fret until after I've had my second beer, and then start sweating bullets. His cell is unreliable, or I'd just call.

That is great news about the SM and Malibu faults. I will tell my mother, and it should cheer her.

Well, off for that second beer.
