Yeah - I've also been unable to say "very interesting" anytime in the last 30+ years without thinking of Arte in "Laugh-In"! Sometimes I'm tempted, as a result, to say "very provocative" instead, but that, in addition to sounding affected, has, IIRC, its own history... But I'm also reminded by your post of another quote which has entered our cultural vocabulary, and which also came to mind recently in this forum when reading some particularly bizarre contributions by a poster who has since left. That is Jim Carrey's "Allllrighty, then!"
