I don't think it's egotistical at all to worry about the faults near one's home. We all do it, and somehow the broad spectrum of areas most prone to quakes in the U.S. and overseas (Ring of FIre). You live in a pretty area, but I agree you have cause for concern being so close to Anza. I'll keep all appendages crossed for you.
