I lived in Santa Ana at that time. I was in kindergarten and I remember it was very noisy in class that day as none of could stop talking.

For the Whittier quake, I was standing outside the US Post office in Garden Grove. I was driving in listening to Rick Dees and I heard him say "ok....ok...". I got out of the car thinking nothing was happening and I will never forget stopping cold in the lot as I watched the building undualting before my eyes!
