Laughing! Sorry Joan. Based on my track record, you have nothing to worry about. My one and only "hit" was the January 17th 1994 Northridge quake. I cleary remember standing next to a colleague, looking out the window of my office on a Friday evening. The sun was covered with high, thin clouds that seemed to be striped with long black bands. The night before, someone on the news used the phrase "unseasonably warm". I told my friend that before we were back in the office Monday morning there would be a noteworthy quake. It was strange because I just knew it. To this day when I hear the words "unseasonably warm", I cringe. Anyway, I think its very easy to go really far afield when talking about unscientific methodologies. I do believe people sometimes get hunches that happen to be correct, but then again, there are enough hunches out there each and every day that somebody's bound to be right once in a while. But, don't worry Joan - I was that somebody only once way back in 1994. Russell
