Last night I was discussing our targeted areas. Yes, Oceanside "tsunamiville" is prob good. Palm Springs? Vacation time. But if they get a 6.0+ will there really be that much damage? Please discuss. I agree about LA but I'm told Westwood is an ideal place for us to talk eq prediction & preparedness. isn't that where it will be very messy when the next Big One hits? Gotta be realistic (plus have a little vacation, too). San Diego? That is where Berkland suggested. Of course, if I do that it would be so tempting to go to Mexico. Do you need a passport if you go just 50 miles south of the border?
