Are there more earthquakes near 103 and 142 degrees after large earthquakes than at other times? If you haven't checked the numbers, it's hard to know whether the rate at FFA locations is higher, lower, or the same as the rate at random times. Most scientists would not pronounce a conclusion without having ready the numbers to back them up, it would badly damage their credibility. These numbers are not hard to calculate, and as I recall Roger and I looked at one estimate a year or so ago, which did not support the hypothesis of FFA.
