Hi All. When Petra first started posting eartones here the first question that came forth was what was it that she and others were hearing. The answer was that we didn’t know, but it was hoped that someone might come up with an idea as to what it might be. It appears that wasn’t the answer anyone wanted to accept, because the question just kept getting asked over and over again. After awhile you get tired of giving the same answer to the same question. It’s kind of like beating a dead horse.

Petra did hear the M=4.4 at the Geysers, or to be more precise she didn’t hear it. Her hearing shut down as we were going up to Hopland. She wanted to know what was in the area east of where we were at. I told her the Maacama fault was just below the road and she said it was further then that. I told her the Clear Volcanics were just over the hill as well as the Geysers. She said there was going to be a quake in that area. Something a little larger then what we normally see. By the time we got back to her place she had forgotten all about it and so did I. She had more important things on her mind with the operation being at the top of the list. That was in the morning.
