Hi All,

After checking the FFA situation for the 7.4 Kermadec Islands quake I thought it might be fun to see if the events for the 8/17/59 11:37PM Local Time 7.4 earthquake event might be ready to make repeat performance.

The key then was the bird population suddenly leaving the area in its entirety two weeks before the earthquake happened so yours truly had to do some bird research to get the skinny on the situation and dog gone it, there is a bird thing going on. Crow population is down as well as other birds, yet the Elk and Moose don't seem to have much to motivate them to move yet. So there might just be a little extra time. I'll get some updates if there are any changes.

But for now, let's get the pedal to the metal and post this thing and see where it goes. And as for the bird theme, if you'll recall I mentioned crows the other day when I wrote about my trip to Nicasio and saw the school where they filmed the movie The Birds. Don't you just love synchronicity? I do.
