Folks, haven't posted for awhile but this looks like a good time. Wah-Hoo Petra. I've been claiming for awhile that the next few sun cycles(11 yr) are going to be below the 1940-2001 average. This was based on supercycle theory. this supercycle theory says that there are 200(ave) year and 78(ave) year cycles in the suns activity. If you extrapolate those cycles forward, they indicate that the next few main sun cycles are going to be medium to small. Here is a link to a new article from NASA that generally matches the super- cycle prediction. If this is accurate, we will start feeling a little colder environment by 2015. The supercycle prediction generally matches the red line in the article graph. Dennis - TSW
