John,
your response was on Mogi's in general. I am asking about what might have caused the pattern that Petra noticed in this case in particular. If you look at Don's map on this thread, you will see that there is a bit of a ring of quakes. I assume the "x" is the M7.9 although I have mot checked it. In this case, it looks to me that the quakes a month or so ago were telling us (Petra) something. Got any speculations on what went on? In this case, I am a little reluctant to believe "coincidence" although you are welcome to have that opinion...
