why would FFA work?

Roger, Chris and I charted many decades data a while back, and it was clear the data did not support the theory. But more basically, why would earthquakes be preferentially triggered at 103 degrees distance?

Logic like this: "The 7.6 in Koryakia, Russian triggered Atacama, Chile. Atacama Chile triggered Tonga." is weak when we can do and did a much more sensitive test with all the earthquakes.
