Hi Petra. I do hope for a full and complete recovery for you, and a return to your usual good health and boundless energy. I _DID_ listen to Larry Parks on Nexus. Jeez! The guy is WAY out there! I've not heard so much pseudo-scientific claptrap in a good, long time. He takes scientists like Einstein and Michelson-Morley to task for their supposed failures, despite Park's own mastery of nothing more than a two-year community college degree. He states that, despite Michelson-Morley's (and countless subsequent, highly sophisticated detection efforts) experiment determining that there is no "aether," or other fixed medium through which highly speculative waves of various sorts would travel, that such actually exists. He is shameleslly self-promoting, describing his experience in Silicon Valley in high-falutin', yet, ultimately, meaningless terms such as "consulting specialist in Systems design analysis and complex hardware engineering." A brief search, which included his own Bio, failed to turn up anything at all of substance in his education, training or background in any actual scientific field. According to the Portland, Oregon-based "Willamette News Online" (http://www.wweek.com/editorial/3109/5883/), Park claims that "he parlayed a two-year community-college degree in electronics into a 'senior design engineering position' with Intel before 'accepting a position at a leading massively parallel superconductor company. Today I'm doing research and consulting at leading high-tech companies in the Silicon Forest'." But, this "Silicon Forest"-based news organization failed to substantiate even that nebulous self-description, stating: "WW was unable to confirm his claims with either Intel or Tektronix, the only "leading massively parallel superconductor company" in the Silicon Forest that came to mind. And scientific sources in Park's purported area of expertise, earthquakes, were quick to point out, after last week's failed prediction, that they had never heard of him." I'm sorry, Petra, I didn't get to hear you on the Nexus program. By the time they got to you I had reached my limit, and just couldn't take any more! Michael Williams in Arroyo Grande, CA
