Please Get Well Petra!!!
(I am curious if Tonga bumped around in your senses lately!)

My vote is for diverticulitis, given the two. Of course plain old gas would be even more preferable, but I digress (almost too far).

Let me offer this: I was hospitalized for appendicitis once in seventh grade, classic symptoms but it went away. the docs said it was gas, but that was because I was adamant for an explanation - it was pretty painful, stayed in one spot (the appendix area), I couldn't walk and I really didn't want to repeat the experience. There's always a reason. I was hospitalized for a few days and only given ice to eat in case I had to undergo surgical removal (if it burst). However, gas was the only one the docs gave me and I never found out if that was so. I still have my appendix. I didn't have a discovery moment that it was gas either, so it's still unresolved in my book. I never had a repeat performance either.

My mom has diverticulitis which means I have a 50% chance of getting this since it is a genetic trait. I favor my mothers side, so I am not looking forward towards having to deal with this down the road.

But enough about me, let's hope it comes togther for Petra and she gets better!

I appreciate the update Don.
