Hi All,

Well, another 5.0 has rolled through my neighborhood, but this one I didn't feel at all. I was so tired, I was dead to the world, but, not my daughter. At 1:40AM she woke me up and said, Mom, there's just been an earthquake, my bed was shaking.

So I asked her; Did your bed shake top to bottom, or side to side? She said, "top to bottom." I said, "ok, that means it was east of here."

Did I have any idea it was coming? Not really. During a most stressful week, I had ear ringing, headaches and two days ago a feeling in my stomach, where one might say they had a gut feeling about something. The vertigo I suffered for three weeks, stopped a week ago as well. So much for sensitivity.

The USGS map sure looks impressive, I think I'll have to print this one and put it with the Bolinas quake map.
