Birds are sensitive to something before earthquakes. I've included this in my research and its a very good indicator of even 2.0 earthquakes. They leave the area and don't return until the quake happens.

I also mentioned this story before about the Lake Hegbron sp? quake, where all of the birds left two weeks before the 7.2 earthquake and did not turn until after the third 6.0 aftershock occurred. Even in the policeman's log it said "where have all of the birds gone?"

So, it appears this is the case and as I said I have reports of the same too. That and a few more things. We won't go into that right now.
