Hi.The Maine area is
on the 43N which is where most of your eq's have recently been. Japan has gotten hit time after time on the 43N reciently (and too at the 34N which is the same latitude as the last seven in Ca.) The big one expected for the NW,Ore/Wa,has the Juan de fuca plate at 43-45N. I do not know the history of Maine,but I think I will check it this week since there has been so much activity on the 43N-45N over the past two years and more so with Japan and off the coast of ore. I love the way you described your home and you must enjoy it very much. I would not worry too much about Maine,but if you come across any information,please post. Dona
